Zarhid Younis, 34, has been officially charged by the Metropolitan Police with preventing the lawful burial of two women who were found in a freezer in London on Friday.
Younis, who lived in the flat in Canning Town where the bodies were found, was arrested when police found the bodies along with another as yet unnamed 50-year old man. Officers were called to the address at 11:45am on Friday following concerns for the welfare of a male resident, which is when they found the two bodies in a freezer.
The women have not been formally identified and police say that it could take days to find out who they are.
Younis is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
