A Norwegian Air flight from Stockholm to Nice, turned back and has landed safely at Stockholm airport, following a bomb threat.
169 passengers were on board flight DY4321 from Arlanda to Nice which returned to the airport as a result of a threat made against the airline. It is unclear whether the threat came from aboard the aircraft or not.
A statement from the airline read:
“For safety reasons, the aircraft returned to Arlanda. We note that there is a great deal of demand with many questions from the media. This is now a police case, so further questions need to be addressed to them.
“Norway’s foremost priority is the safety of our passengers and employees.”
A police spokeswoman confirmed that officers were attending a bomb threat call at Arlanda airport, but didn’t give any more details.
